I Talk You Talk English School is an online English school based in Shimane, Japan. It is part of the I Talk You Talk Group. We started teaching private lessons in our local area in 2009, and in 2019 moved the business online. We offer a range of lessons including English conversation, travel English, business English, test preparation (TOEIC, TOEFL, EIKEN, university entrance exams, etc.) and presentation English. I Talk You Talk English School is managed by Heather Dixon.
Originally from the UK, Heather has lived in Japan since May 2000. Throughout her time in Japan, Heather has taught English at tertiary institutions and private language schools. She passed 1st grade on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test in 2003 and began working as a translator in 2004. Since 2009, she has managed I Talk You Talk Translation, which specialises in translation from Japanese to English. She is also the co-founder of I Talk You Talk Press, which publishes graded readers for learners of English. She is the author of many graded readers, and the book How I Learnt Japanese and How You Can Too: 60 Tips to Guarantee Success.
In her spare time, Heather practices karate (she holds a 4th dan black belt), and enjoys running, reading and learning languages. She is currently studying Mandarin Chinese.

Patricia Murrow provides English learning for adults.
She also provides a specialist service for persons preparing professional presentations for technical conferences and business promotion.
She has more than forty years teaching experience in both English communication and science. She has lived and worked in New Zealand, the USA, France and more recently Japan. In addition, as an international environmental consultant, she has undertaken assignments in a number of countries, primarily in the Pacific and Asia.
During her nineteen years in Japan she worked in a number of university and technical institutions teaching English communication, presentation skills and environmental science.
She has published papers in international and Japanese journals on a variety of topics including environment, literature and multi-media English learning, and has a broad experience in editing technical papers.
She recognized the need for more useful reading and resource material for adult learners of English, and in 2013 co-founded I Talk You Talk Press with Heather Dixon.
I Talk You Talk Press produces fiction and other resources for young adult and adult learners of English. She has written more than 25 books of fiction for adult learners of English, including On the Run, which is a finalist in the Language Learners Literature Award 2019.
Patricia Murrow is available on-line, for adult English classes and for editing and practicing presentations – times by negotiation.
